special effects
In this section you will see pieces that are on different pages on my portfolio but this section takes those simple models and adds special effects to them to make them seem real or at least give the watcher the illusion of what is going on in the scene. Some of these projects started off as class assignments but after I observed their potential I decided to take these scene further and posted is the evolution of each piece. I hope you enjoy these clips and I hope to add a lot more work soon, enjoy.
Mac Arthur Park added effects
CLIP #1: For this simple reel clip I was observing the way that the lake water rippled with the noise that I added and the geyser in the middle of the water looks decent. I still have a lot of work to do with this project so let me know what I need to change and what I need to do to make the scene look as real as possible.
Stripper cathedral added effects
In this clip I met the requirements of the weeks assignment but I have not stopped because I feel that this scene has a lot of potential with animation and special effects. For this third step I slowed the camera down by adding 100 more frames, stretching all of the animations out to that frame and slowed the clip down to 20 FPS. I feel that this final class render shows off the fog nicely, displays the new basic lighting that I added perfectly and gives the watcher a good overview of the textured environment. I still plan on doing a lot with this scene.
