other artwork
In this section I am displaying a lot of the artwork that I have done for fun and for other people, I wish that I had a lot more but because of my many homeless states I have lost or sold a lot of it off to survive. But what I have now I is more in the 3D realm but I still create 2D and hand drawing to change things up a bit. Overall this page will be kept as an organized miscellaneous area and I hope that I will have the opportunity to make random additions to this section.
the hollywood v.o.a.
When I first moved to Los Angeles I chose to stay at the Hollywood V.O.A. because it was so close to where I was going to school. Inside this facility there were some people that were not as fortunate and motivated to chase their dreams like I was, but I wanted to change that attitude. I lived in a section of the Hollywood V.O.A. (Volunteers Of America) that the florescent lighting was poor, even after putting new bulbs in so jokingly the people that lived in that section called ourselves 'Shady Lane'. I created two road sign drawings that I did and after that I was requested to do a Grateful Dead inspired piece for a friend. Sorry about the poor quality of photos, at the time I only owned a I touch and I put the images through an Instagram filter, still I feel I did a great job on the posters and these are the only photos available of them.
Reel Vets
About the middle of 2014 members of Veterans in Film and Television got together to create a video for a challenge, I had nothing to do with their production but I have everything to do with their logo. The first one is the one they decided to use and the ones that follow are ones that I thought were kind of interesting looking. I do hope that they continue Reel Vets going for future challenges because I have found that the members in Veterans in Film and Television are not only talented but motivated to make their mark in the industry and I believe that most of them will.
hard copy of portfolio
Although having an internet website to display your work is very nice but when I am heading into an interview I an not guaranteed that there will be internet access nor enough time to look up my site so I have created a hard copy of my portfolio that includes a sample of my work. I do not want to post multiple pictures of the same image because there is work on my webpage included in my hard portfolio so I will only add things that I have manipulated to fit my portfolio needs.
N.E.L.A.
An individual approached me in a store about creating a logo for his company that represents North East Los Angeles and I agreed, I gave him a really low price and he liked quite a few of the images that he seen. I do not know the status of his company, I am not sure that his product has even been released but I do know that I was paid and these are the images that they chose ... well they chose 4 out of the 6. I placed the copywriter symbol on them because when I first created the image I was not sure if they were going to use my design for the shirt or for the logo.
